Journey with us to a vacation like no other. Playa Viva is a B-corp certified eco-luxury resort in the beautiful southwestern coast of Mexico. Enjoy guilt free luxury at an environmentally conscious resort dedicated to sustainability and regenerative practices. You will stay in open air, oceanfront, award winning treehouses, eat meals straight from the farm, dive deeper in your yoga practice with 2 classes offered daily, and participate in the baby turtle release from the onsite turtle sanctuary. Yep, I said baby turtles!

Suspended in mid air by palm trees each treehouse is made up of two buildings. The "perch" in front is outfitted with 2 beds (can also be a King bed for singles/couples) and a hammock suspended out front in mid air. The back house has a bedroom downstairs outfitted with two beds, a desk, and a stunning view. The bathroom is a large shared space located downstairs. Each treehouse sleeps a maximum of 4. If traveling with friends we can group you together.

About your Hosts

Ashley Wainscott- owner/founder Agape Movement, Barre, and Yoga Instructor

Ashley fell hard for yoga back in 2014 when she took her first 90 minute Hatha class 2 weeks after having her third baby. Yoga allowed her to lean into the flexibility and balance she had growing up as a dancer. In 2017 Ashley completed her Hatha training alongside Jamie, and they've been yoga soul mates ever since. 500 hours of YTT later, Ashley now enjoys teaching classes that are creative, fun, and make everyone feel seen and more connected to themselves and each other.

Jamie Soule- Barre and Yoga Instructor

Jamie’s journey to the yoga studio started in 2007 with the classic 90 minute 26 style. She loves the moving meditation, the mental and physical challenge and how she feels after class. She’s practiced a variety of modalities; weight training, vinyasa, hatha, yin, fusion, pilates, barre & more. Eventually she worked up the courage to take barre teacher training in 2017, and started teaching regularly. Jamie has since completed two, 200 hour yoga teacher trainings in The Classic 26, and Vinyasa, and a yin yoga training. She loves the structure of the 26, the flow of vinyasa and the shaking in barre. Jamie strives to make classes that are fun, challenging, and inclusive.
